Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Child Care Director to oversee the operations of our child care facility. The Child Care Director will be responsible for ensuring the well-being and development of the children in our care, as well as managing the staff and maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations.
Duties:
- Develop and implement educational programs that promote the intellectual, social, and emotional development of children
- Create a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Supervise and support child care staff, providing guidance and professional development opportunities
- Maintain open lines of communication with parents, addressing any concerns or questions they may have
- Collaborate with teachers and other educational professionals to ensure curriculum alignment and quality instruction
- Oversee administrative tasks such as budgeting, scheduling, and record keeping
- Ensure compliance with all licensing requirements and regulations
- Evaluate program effectiveness and make necessary adjustments to improve outcomes
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field, or 5 years or more of work experience in the field
- Previous experience working with students in an educational setting
- Strong knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education
- Experience in education administration, including staff supervision and program management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and problem-solve effectively
