Summary of Duties:
Utilize artistic skill sets to create soundtracks and show/dance routines for property wide show package, along with vision for costuming and development of characters. Maintain safe practices.
Job Responsibilities:
• Exhibit professional demeanor and model behaviors at all times
• Deliver Guest Excellence through well executed show content
• Maintain a professional demeanor
• Create and bring to life the various property wide shows and associated characters
• Create the “personality” for assigned role/character through choreographed dance routines and costuming
• Execute the necessary costuming needs, including but not limited to, make-up, prosthetics and hair styling
• Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures and regulations from all authorities having jurisdiction
• Lead rehearsals as necessary to ensure a quality performance
• Assist the Seasonal Entertainment Manager with costuming of each character
• Assist the Seasonal Entertainment Manager in execution of the daily show schedule, both in punctuality and quality
• Be flexible and adapt to accommodate parkwide requests, at times of last-minute nature
• Protect company assets through proper use of tools and equipment and the adherence to the standard of overall cleanliness and organization of work areas.
• Other duties as needed and/or assigned by Leadership.
Job Requirements:
• Must be at least 16 years of age. If under 18 years of age, must be able to provide working papers prior to hire.
• Previous choreography experience is preferred.
• Must be able to read, write and speak the English language.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Ability to efficiently manage time and work without direct supervision.
• Must be able to stand, walk, climb, bend, kneel, squat, stoop, push, pull, twist and reach above shoulders.
• Ability to work in an environment with high levels of noise and vibrations.
• Ability to work in high stress situations.
• Ability to successfully pass a drug screen and background check.
• Must have reliable transportation.
