May also assist in inspecting aging infrastructure or overseeing improvement projects. Additionally, Civil Engineer requires a bachelor's degree in engineering. Summary: The Civil Engineer works as part of a program management team managing a project for the Veterans Affairs to meet the infrastructure upgrades across Joseph Maxwell Cleland Atlanta Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC) and includes work at associated Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOCs). The project support is related to projects performed at the main hospital and associated CBOCs and will include any Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM), Non-Recurring Maintenance (NRM), Minor and Major project support. 100% on-site at the Atlanta VAMC with occasional travel within city of Atlanta.
