Power your future with Qualus as a Civil Engineering Intern. Our Interns partner with our engineering teams in completing electrical and structural design packages for the power utility industry. They help develop electrical and structural drawings using AutoCAD and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D and perform quality assurance checks with the supervision of senior-level engineers. Interns must be a Junior or Senior in college pursing a Civil Engineering bachelors degree.

Create drawings using AutoCAD and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Perform quality assurance checks on electrical and structural drawings under Senior Engineering supervision.
• Adhere to industry standards and codes for substation design with a focus on civil site layout, grading, storm drainage, roads, and environmental and governmental permitting requirements.
• Create engineering support documentation.
• Provide administrative support as needed.

• Full-time Junior or Senior in an ABET-accredited program pursuing BS degree in Civil Engineering.
• Intermediate drafting skills using AutoCAD and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Educational experience in foundation and structural design.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
