AVAILABLE POSITION: CAD Designer/Technician, Civil Engineering 

EMPLOYMENT: Full-time

LOCATION: Miami, FL (Doral)

Nova Consulting, Inc. has employment opportunities for computer-aided design (CAD) staff in our Doral Office. Candidates should be able to efficiently plan and organize workload, ability to work independently, demonstrate success working with a team of professionals, have a dedication to quality, have good communication skills, and have a positive work ethic. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• The work involves all aspects of civil engineering (water, sewer, drainage, grading, etc.)
• Design construction documents using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Review drawings and designs to ensure adherence to established specifications and standards.
• Evaluate and implement CAD specifications defined by clients.
• Create precise technical drawings and perform quantity take-offs.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 2 years of computer-aided design (CAD) experience on civil engineering projects (water, sewer, drainage, grading, etc.) preferred with a civil engineering consulting firm with similar duties as listed above.
• 1 Civil 3D experience required (Surface, Plan /Profile, Pipe Networks).
• Experience with other design applications, such as GIS, Revit is a plus.
• Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong sense of urgency, project responsibility, and initiative.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
