Additionally, Claims Analyst contacts policyholders about claims and may provide information regarding the amount of benefits. May require a bachelor's degree or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Claims Analyst gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Job Description: ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: Able to perform all essential Schedule/Cost Analyst responsibilities Train field personnel in scheduling procedures Compile data to support Claims Analysis Analyze project documentation, contracts and subcontracts Prepare charts and graphs to support claim analysis Support forensic schedule analysis for detailed cause and effect claim presentations Support calculation of Contractor damages resulting from project delays, disruptions, and acceleration Participate in preparing claims for meditation Prepare project specific recovery/acceleration schedules as required under Contract Perform system administrator functions related to P6 EPPM Provide instructional design support and conduct training for end users of P6 EPPM Develop baseline contract schedules with project team and support scheduled updates Regularly travel (local and inter-state) to project sites and other Swinerton offices (approximately 4 days/month) MINIMUM SKILLS OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Engineering, Construction Management or Architectural degree, or equivalent experience 3 years of field construction or scheduling experience, with 1 years in Construction Claims required Experience using Primavera P6 Knowledge of construction means and methods, management techniques and cost accounting principles.
