Being a Claims Processing Director develops and executes strategic business plans for the department. Coordinates operations with other areas of the organization. Hancock Claims Consultants is looking for reliable Field Representatives to join our team. Field Representatives will have the ability to climb and inspect residential roofs, including steep and high roofs. They will work on various assignments including damage assessments, interior and exterior damage evaluations, underwriting property inspections, and more. Field Representatives should possess strong customer service skills and an attitude for teamwork.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities |
Completing high and/or steep-pitch roof inspections accurately and impartially.
Completing Damage Documentation on steep and/or multi-level roof systems.
Lifting, carrying, and setting up equipment up to 100lbs multiple times a day.
Measuring and sketching roofs and other inspection areas.
Submitting required documentation and evidence via software utilizing company provided tablet.
Traveling daily to perform scheduled inspections, weekend work required.
Ensuring professional company standards are met.
Ensuring that inspections are completed in a timely manner and that service level requirements are met
Maintaining file quality metrics as required
Installing and removing tarpaulins on damaged roofs according to carrier/client specifications
Conducting re-inspections as needed and/or requested by carrier/clients
Performing other duties as assigned.
Qualifications |
Strong customer service skills
Technical ability to complete inspections in varied weather conditions.
Ability to safely navigate and inspect any type of roof, specifically steep and high roofs.
Roofing and/or construction backgrounds preferred
Reliable truck or SUV with ability to transport at least 32’ ladder
Demonstrated knowledge of MS Office applications
Ability to complete inspection documentation via company issued mobile device
Knowledge of workplace safety and adherence to industry standard inspection methodologies.
Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines, goal-oriented, organized and take pride in their work
Environmental Factors |
Work is performed outdoors on steep and multi-pitch roofs.
Daily travel of up to 100 miles required as scheduled.
Scheduling |
Position requires daytime availability and may also include nights, weekends, and extended hours for business development purposes.
Work hours will depend on operational needs.
