Director of Product – Media Processing & Delivery (MP&D)
Dolby is seeking a world-class product leader to lead its Media Processing and Delivery product management team.
As Director, MP&D you will be responsible for defining the vision and strategy for Dolby’s solutions used by the professional community to encode, transcode, process, package and deliver live, post-produced and music content. The ideal candidate has a passion for audio and video technology and the work the media industry does every day. You are innately curious and love delivering products and ecosystems that delight your customers. You have the technical ability to go deep with research and engineering when required but understand that your real value is your strategic thinking, and your business and product acumen. You understand how the Media Processing & Delivery solutions fit into the broader Dolby strategy and ensure we bring the right solutions to market. You inherently understand how to position products and ensure they deliver a differentiated product/market fit. You are a leader, taking your colleagues and customers on the journey with you; inspiring them through your expert knowledge and passion for the work we do. You can interact with stakeholders across multiple disciplines and geographies. You will have regular engagement with external customers and partners, representing Dolby to the industry. You use data to inform decisions but understand that the data alone never tells the whole story, and your deep empathy for our customers will provide your strongest signals. You can work both collaboratively, and with a high degree of autonomy.
The position reports to the Sr. Director of Creation and Distribution Solutions and is ideally based in San Francisco, Atlanta or Burbank, although other locations will be considered.

The San Francisco/Bay Area base salary range for this full-time position is $225,200 - 275,300, which will vary if outside this location, plus bonus, benefits, and some roles may also include equity. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, competencies, experience, market demands, internal parity, and relevant education or training.
