JOB DESCRIPTION The Post Processing Supervisor will be responsible for the day to day oversight of Post Processing, performing routine tasks in all Post Processing areas after formal training on department-specific operating procedures. Working with direction from the Post Processing Manager, the Post Processing Lead will perform waste disposal, trimming, inspecting crops, sorting crops, quality control, overseeing dry/cure and inventory management within trim, dry, and cure.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Train new team members to perform routine tasks in all Post Processing areas, including trimming, dry, cure, harvest, inspecting crops, sorting crops, quality control, waste disposal, and inventory management
Assign tasks to Processing Lead and Technicians
Perform all routine tasks in Post Processing areas, including trimming, dry, cure, harvesting, sorting crops, inventory management within processing, quality control, and waste disposal
Create and edit departmental SOPs with oversight from the Post Post Processing Manager
Responsible for SOP compliance of the team
Build schedules and plans with oversight from the Post Processing Manager
Solve problems and production disruptions
Assists and recommends in personnel management and corrective action with oversight from Post Processing Manager, Director of Cultivation, and HR in accordance with performance management policies
Conducts performance reviews with the oversight of the Post Processing Manager and HR
Continuously clean, sanitize, and organize your work space and machinery
Fill out detailed logs and forms for machinery processes and maintenance
Communicate with peers and management clearly, with kindness and respect
