Overview
We are seeking a 2 year experienced accounting bookkeeper to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing incoming/outgoing mail, logging transactions in QuickBooks Desktop, managing accounts receivable and accounts payable, and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, as well as the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Duties

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports.
• Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure all transactions are accounted for.
• Manage accounts receivable processes, including invoicing and collections.
• Utilize QuickBooks Desktop software for budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Assist in corporate accounting tasks, including month-end close procedures.
• Process payroll accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with relevant laws.
• Stay updated on financial concepts and regulations to ensure compliance.

Skills

• Proficiency in public accounting practices.
• Strong experience with bank reconciliation and general ledger reconciliation.
• Knowledge of accounts receivable processes and management.
• Familiarity with QuickBooks Desktop software and accounting software applications.
• Solid understanding of budgeting techniques and corporate accounting principles.
• Ability to handle payroll functions efficiently.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail in financial reporting.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration within the team.
