Claims Quality Audit Supervisor supervises and coordinates daily activities of claims quality auditors. Provides assistance in developing claims audit policies and procedures. Being a Claims Quality Audit Supervisor solves day-to-day problems and monitors the results of daily staff activities, reports critical issues and problems to the management. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Claims Quality Audit Supervisor typically reports to a manager. The Claims Quality Audit Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. Thorough knowledge of department processes. Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the front desk
- Check guests in and out of the hotel using the computerized reservation system
- Answer phone calls and provide information to guests or transfer calls to appropriate departments
- Handle guest complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner
- Assist guests with inquiries about hotel amenities, local attractions, and directions
- Process payments and maintain accurate records of guest transactions
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
Requirements:
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Proficient in using phone systems and computerized reservation systems
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle difficult situations with patience and professionalism
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required
