External Auditor Quality Operations
Zoetis is hiring an External Auditor for the Quality Operations team. The External Auditor will oversee the external audit program for the site and assure compliance to GMP and Zoetis standards.
Position Responsibilities

Plan the external audit program for the site through the coordination of the Risk assessment process.

Prepare manufacturing operations for upcoming regulatory audits and support regulatory inspections.

Develop and lead a team of external auditors and train colleagues on conducting external audits.

Interface with corporate quality on external audit activities and issues identified during external audits.

Act as an auditing SME and coach and support external auditors as needed and assigned.

Execute or revise quality agreements with designated suppliers.

Perform “For Cause” audits of suppliers and maintain/update approved supplier list.

Perform supplier management activities according to global procedures.

Act as the site SME for Zoetis auditor platform meetings and report site metrics at quality council.
Education & Technical Skills Required
-
Requires a bachelor’s degree in science or related discipline.

3 to 5 years of Quality Assurance experience in a GMP pharmaceutical manufacturing environment is desired.

Must have experience working in a GMP environment.

Experience with SAP, ETS (Trackwise), and MS Suites.

Excellent communication skills (written, oral, and listening).

Demonstrated knowledge in a Quality Operations Role.

Fluent with compliance regulations (FDA and EU).

Demonstrated ability to pay close attention to detail and accuracy.

Candidate must possess flexibility to respond to constantly changing conditions and priorities.

Ability to analyze data and synthesize to enable tracking and trending of large issues.

Demonstrated ability to operate successfully in a matrix organization.
Physical Position Requirements

Position requires flexible work hours, to accommodate travel, locations, and time zones.

Ability to walk or stand for long periods of time.

This position will require fluent use of teleconferencing using Zoom.

Travel: Estimated 40% including domestic and international travel.

Must not be allergic to cephalosporins or penicillin.
