    Job Summary

    Our Avient IT team is seeking an experienced SAP Supply Chain Analyst (Plan-to-Produce processes with a focus on PP QM) to be part of its global deployment of SAP S/4HANA.  Avient is upgrading from its SAP ECC systems to a single global instance of SAP S/4HANA.  Starting with Avient’s global S/4 template, you will localize and deploy S/4 across multiple waves grouped by region and business.  You will be part of a global project team deploying S/4HANA in over 40 countries.  In addition to supporting the SAP S/4HANA PP, QM, and PPDS modules, you will support integrations with and deployment of other manufacturing applications including manufacturing execution systems (MES), a labeling solution, and others.  Responsibilities include gathering business requirements for localization, configuration, functional specification development for WRICEFs, testing, supporting training, executing cutover steps, and providing post go-live hypercare.  While this role will be primarily performed remotely some travel may be required.

     

     

    Essential Functions

    ·       Makes configuration changes and supports coding changes within the SAP S/4HANA PP, QM, and PPDS modules and other applications such as manufacturing execution systems (MES) and labeling solutions

    ·       Gathers requirements for local regulations and unique business requirements for each deployment wave

    ·       Prepares and executes unit and integration testing.  Supports user acceptance testing.

    ·       Maintain relevant documentation such as configuration guides or functional specifications to ensure streamlined support and knowledge transfer within areas of responsibility

    ·       Provides hypercare support after each go-live.  Troubleshoots and resolves issues impacting the business.

    ·       Provides technical and functional support for all key manufacturing and quality systems

    ·       Other duties and projects as assigned

    QUALIFICATIONS:

     

    Education and Experience

    ·       Bachelors of Science degree in Computer Science, Business, Information Systems or related business field required

    ·       3 years of experience in functional analyst roles

    ·       SAP S/4HANA PP, QM and PPDS experience preferred; SAP PP and QM experience accepted

    ·       Experience implementing or supporting a SAP S/4HANA landscape is preferred

    ·       Experience with the Agile methodology and Jira software is preferred

    ·       Ability to work independently and as a part of a global team at all levels is required

    ·       Excellent collaboration skills within a team, across other IT functions, and with business users is required

    ·       Superior trouble-shooting and problem solving skills is required
