As the supervisor of clerical positions in the District Office, your responsibilities will include overseeing work assignments, performance evaluations, leave requests, disciplinary actions, and training needs. You will also be responsible for developing policies and procedures for clerical staff, such as correspondence, reports, and data entry into IT databases. In addition, you will prepare and send out letters, maintain desk manuals, and assist in cross-training clerical and administrative support staff in other District Divisions. Furthermore, you will provide support to the district press office's administration of the Customer Care Center (CCC) system. While serving as a backup to the district press staff for overall administration, your main role will be to ensure that clerical support is provided to the press staff in developing the district's response to assigned CCC's. You will also assist the Assistant District Executives (ADE) with legislative outreach initiatives, which involves tracking, coordinating, and aiding in the development of legislative and public stakeholder meetings and correspondence for all district activities. As a representative of the District Executive or Assistant District Executive's, you will be required to attend routine meetings, take notes, collect pertinent information, and provide briefings on results as needed.
