Through its relationship with CUSO Financial Services, L. P. (CFS) First Commonwealth Federal Credit Union is seeking a Client Associate to support one of our advisors in the Allentown, PA area.
As a Client Associate, you become part of the credit union environment providing support to the Financial Advisor and help to build member relationships. The position is responsible for support and coordination of all activities related to client service, processing of paperwork, and coordination of business development activities, as well as contribution to sales if appropriately licensed.

SUMMARY: Provides support, coordinates, and conducts client sales support and service activities for Representative and Investment Program in an effort to increase investment program growth.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to, the following.
- Follows up on any appointment leads (website, seminars, etc.)
- Calls clients and prospects and makes appointments for the representative.
- Processes incoming client mail, paperwork, and other items to support the representative.
- Assists representative with back to representative administrative items.
- Maintains calendar for the representative.
- Performs administrative duties for representative, which may include monitoring assigned representatives’ emails and voicemails for follow up items which may include prioritizing emails and voice mails, scheduling related appointments, and/or conducting the necessary follow up to the emails or voice mails (remaining compliant for a non-registered person).
- Works with compliance to administer and track any advertising approvals as needed.
- Prospects for clients within clearly defined markets.
- Manages scheduling, planning, and tracking of attendees for seminars and workshops.
- Assists with representative or member travel arrangements, directions, and other travel-related items.
- Fosters and supports relationships with clients.
- Listens effectively and empathetically to Registered Representatives, prospects, and clients, gathering facts, making written notes when appropriate, and analyzing total needs of the client or representative.
- Works closely with other administrative personnel and assistants to build program.
- Supports entire program and pitches in when other assistant(s) are out, if applicable.
- Sets and keeps consistent office hours.

QUALIFICATIONS

- Associate degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in sales of investment products (ideally in a bank/credit union environment). And have a willingness to continue with professional growth as required.
- Possess or ability to obtain FINRA Series 7, 63/65 or 66 licenses, along with Life, Accident and Health Insurance licenses within a specified period of time.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office is required (i.e., Word, Excel, and Outlook).
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Utilizes active listening skills and effectively presents information to and/or responds appropriately to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
- All employees must disclose any criminal history with CUSO Financial Services, LP ("CFS"). All individuals will be fingerprinted, as mandated by the FINRA Books and Records rule. All fingerprint submissions are processed through the Federal Bureau of Investigations and Department of Justice and results are returned to CFS via electronic notification. Any criminal history not previously disclosed to CFS can result in disciplinary action, up to and including immediate termination.

SALARY RANGE
$18-$21 an hour depending on experience and qualifications.
