Career Opportunity – Accounting Associate with Midwest Filtration in Cincinnati, OH

As the Accounting Associate at Midwest Filtration, you will support the Financial Officer with the processing of the daily financial operations by maintaining accounting records.

Specific duties will include:

• Collect, verify, and post invoices, checks, and other business transactions such as funds received and disbursed, and totals accounts to ledgers or computer spreadsheets and databases.
• Audit invoices against purchase orders, research discrepancies, and approve for payment.
• Prepare vouchers, checks, account statements, reports, and other records, and review for accuracy.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts with various registers.
• Reconcile bank statements and other report discrepancies and make corrections.
• Invoicing/Billing vendor accounts.
• Backup for Payroll and Receptionist

To be considered you will have the following:

• Associate degree or equivalent, preferred
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in accounting.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment
• Ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple projects
• Flexibility and adaptability according to the changing needs and priorities of the organization
• Excellent problem solving, organizational, interpersonal, and motivational skills
• Experience using MS Office Suite of products
• Ability to function within a financial management system, Epicor preferred
