PRIMARY PURPOSE:
This position will work with physician offices, laboratories, patients and internal customers to ensure that all client needs are addressed accurately and efficiently. Position will provide product education and handle a wide variety of questions while ensuring a world-class customer experience. The ideal candidate will be passionate about Customer Service and motivated to work with a customer centric team in an innovative company. Position should be able to work independently, exercise discretion and sound judgment.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Resolves routine customer requests with products or services via inbound, outbound calls, or the Internet.
- Speaks with customers in a courteous, friendly, and professional manner using protocol procedures
- Inquiries, clarifies, and confirm customer requirements and understanding of the solution. Provide additional customer education as needed.
- Qualifies and establish inbound new customers requesting Adventus Laboratory Solutions products and services.
- Works in multiple databases to research complex issues and questions.
- Creates and updates lab panels based on the client’s needs.
- Aids in collecting missing information from clients for billing purposes.
- Ships supplies when needed.
- Reviews and helps adjust invoice errors.
- Notifies clients of test results.
- Reviews test forms for accuracy and updates requisition information when needed.
- Trains and on boards any new clients.
- Participates in activities designed to improve customer satisfaction and business performance.
- Performs administrative support for medical record management, CRM data maintenance, and internal records to assure HIPAA compliance.
- Works with senior management on gathering new and additional business
- Completes required trainings, and additional recommended trainings that can help promote compliance with a variety of employment obligations.
- In addition to the major duties and responsibilities listed above, this position will be responsible for special projects and assignments on an as needed basis.
- Works with the chief marketing officer on gathering new and additional business
REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION AND/OR TRAINING:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Bachelor's degree highly desired
EXPERIENCE:
- Previous experience in a customer service role required
- Experience working in a contact center/call center environment and/or healthcare industry, such as a physician's office or hospital highly preferred
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite required. Experience with Zoho.com and/or Laboratory Information Systems preferred
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Strong flexibility and the ability to manage and adapt to changing priorities quickly.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish highly desirable.
- Ability to analyze, evaluate and report data without oversight.
- Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines and maintain strong working relationships with others, internally and externally.
- Ability to apply policies and procedures; performs job safely with respect to others, to property, and to individual safety and works effectively with others.
- Positive attitude and team player.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Ability to lift 40 pounds.
OTHER CRITERIA:
- Actively explores new educational pursuits to improve job knowledge and skills.
- Valid driver’s license, excellent driving record, maintain minimum car insurance as required by Florida and have reliable transportation. Copies of both will be required.
- Usage of personal vehicle is required. Assurance that the vehicle is maintained in good condition. Will be reimbursed for mileage based on accurate representation of mileage utilizing forms provided.
- Expected to work whatever hours are necessary to accomplish the goals and deliverables of this exempt position.
