Overview:
We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our team. As a CNC Programmer, you will be responsible for creating and modifying CNC programs to produce precision parts. The ideal candidate will have extensive Mastercam multi-axis programming experience. Experience with aerospace parts and standards is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and modify CNC programs
- Set up and operate, when necessary, CNC machines to fabricate parts according to specifications
- Collaborate with engineers and designers to optimize machining processes
- Create manufacturing plans for new parts (programming, workholding design, tooling design, operation flow, etc)
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with CNC programs or machine operations
- Maintain documentation of programming changes and updates per QMS
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a CNC Programmer responsible for high-complexity parts.
- Proficient in programming languages for Okuma OSP controls
- Strong knowledge of Mastercam or similar software for creating and modifying designs. CAMplete/Fusion experience is a plus
- Mastery of machining processes and an interest in the latest technology trends
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of GD&T and how it relates to process approach
- Experience with precision measuring instruments such as CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine)
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills
This is a first shift M-F position, but occasional off shifts may be required depending on business need.
