Client Services Director directs and oversees the implementation operations of an organization. Oversees a team responsible for installing and deploying technical systems, software, hardware, or solutions. Being an Client Services Director implements policies and creates procedures to ensure consistency and high-quality work. Ensures that the timelines, planning, scoping, and cost estimates support successful projects that meet the needs of the client organization. Additionally, Client Services Director tracks implementation timeliness and client issues and develops solutions to implementation problems or challenges. Develops team skills and expertise with coaching and training activities. Requires a bachelor's degree in area of technical specialty. Typically reports to senior management. The Client Services Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be an Client Services Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function.     Job Description

    The Director, Client Management Services oversees the day-to-day plan administration of retirement plans. This role acts as the primary resource for the day-to-day activities of a retirement services team member managing client/advisor relationships. Seeks cost savings and revenue generation opportunities through process improvement.    

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Leadership through strategic thinking.
    • Leads staff and assists with needed resources to resolve complex problems.
    • Provides performance coaching and reviews and manages, motivates and develops associates.
    • Attract, coach, develop and retain a diverse, high-performing team.
    • Responding to the most complex internal and external questions.
    • Manages Plan Manager workloads during periods of peak volume.

    Education/Requirements:

    • Excellent leadership, management, team-building, and organizational skills.
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to drive action.
    • Ability to think strategically and execute methodically.
    • Strong ability to influence and build relationships across multiple business disciplines.
    • Ability to communicate and present clearly, concisely, and assertively (written and orally).
    • Experience with OMNI, Salesforce, RPS preferred.
    • 4-year degree required; recommend Finance, Accounting, Business or Math degree.
    • 7 years of experience working within the retirement services plan administration, TPA or advisor firm.
    • QKA, QPA, APA designation preferred.

    Salary Band: 7A

    This selected candidate will be expected to work hybrid in Indianapolis, IN. The candidate will also be expected to physically return to the office in CA, IN or ME as business needs dictate or for team building and collaboration.
