TMC Technologies is looking for an Engineering Technician to join our team supporting the Naval Surface Warfare Center Crane Division (Indiana). The Engineering Technician will provide technical support to engineers in areas such as production, disposition, and maintenance. All applicants must possess or be able to obtain a Secret level security clearance.
Work will be performed in Linton, IN.
This position will have no travel.
Tasking Includes:
Assist NSWC Crane logistics personnel with the movement and disposition of obsolete equipment to include cables, computer components, shelters, and vehicles.
Separate and organize pieces, parts, assemblies and equipment into kits.
Use hand tools and power tools for system builds or tear down.
Review and understand Engineering Drawings for CAC2S program to assist with determining what and where equipment will be staged.

Ability to obtain/maintain a Secret Security Clearance
Valid Driver’s license in order to be able to get HMMVW license for movement of tactical vehicle.
Work independently with little to no supervision.
Communicate clearly and maintain good working relationship with peers and customers at all technical levels.
Must possess troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
Attention to detail, a cooperative attitude, and sound work ethics are essential.
