An established veterinary clinic is seeking a Assistant Practice Manager. Applicants MUST have 2-3 years of previous experience in a veterinary management role. The ideal candidate has veterinary office experience, good interpersonal skills, and the ability to communicate well. Strong computer skills, a must.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, dependable, and team-orientated person to add to our existing team to provide high quality veterinary medical services and customer service. This position is open to individuals who enjoy working with companion animals and their owners, in a professional, challenging and focused environment.

Practice Management Duties include but are not limited to:

* Human Resources - recruit, interview, hire, discipline, and discharge employees; conduct staff meetings and employee reviews; mediate staff disputes; manage daily work; establish work schedules; manage training and development; create/review/update job descriptions and manuals

* Organization of Practice - maintain inventory, track purchase orders, submit orders, assure insurance coverage is in place, establish protocols for maintenance, maintain record keeping system, maintain protocols for hospital procedures, strategic planning

* Marketing & Client Relations - develop and manage marketing and public relations; establish client communication protocols and facilitate client retention & satisfaction

* Laws & Ethics - understands and ensures compliance with regulatory agencies, contract law, labor laws, and confidentiality of staff, clients, and patients

* Financial Management - Manages accounts receivable, Reconciles daily cash and monitors the petty cash, Continually drives revenue and manages costs to budget, Performs invoice audit reviews, Controls all facility and administrative costs.
