JOB SUMMARY:
The Clinic Manager is responsible for implementation of Practice Operations Council (POC) and Network Operations Council (NOC) decisions and is accountable to the POC directly reporting to the Department Director or assigned Assistant Administrator. Working with the POC, the Clinic Manager has full responsibility, authority, and accountability for the performance of the assigned practice/s. Responsibilities of the Clinic Manager include provider relations, communications, management of all non-provider staff (clinical matters will include direction from the provider/s), collaboration with Central Business Office to assure appropriate patient revenue management, physical plant, operations, education and training, supply management, etc. Along with this authority comes the responsibility for the bottom-line performance of the assigned practice/s. The Clinic Manager is physically present in the assigned practice 90 - 95% of the time.
QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree preferred in business administration, healthcare administration or related clinical area.

Three years clinic experience; two years of supervisory or management experience with five or more direct/indirect reports preferred.

Knowledge of medical practice billing preferred.

Ability to interpret and supervise business policies of practice.

Special ability to communicate with physicians, staff, and general public, both verbally and in writing.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Must have adequate perception of sounds or adequate hearing with corrections.

Adequate vision, or correctable with glasses/contacts, to prepare reports and read written materials.

Able to work in latex burdened environment.

Able to speak clearly and distinctly with staff, physicians, patients, and families.

Demonstrates adequate stamina to deal with stressful situations and to complete the necessary work schedule.

Possess fine motor skills and hand/eye coordination to operate equipment.
