USC's Keck School of Medicine, Department of Medicine, Medicine Research Unit (MRU) is seeking a part-time Clinical Research Data Specialist to join its team. The Research Data Specialist is responsible for coordinating assigned projects.
The Research Data Specialist position entails assistance with the data entry and management of trials within the GI/Liver Division.
Overall, the successful candidate will have experience working in a clinical trials research environment, and will have familiarity with data management, have excellent organizational skills, work well as a member of a small research team, be able to work independently, and have the ability to interact well with study participants. Candidate will work with the PI, department, sponsor, and institution to provide assistance on data management/data entry for all active studies. Duties include, but are not limited to, providing general administrative support, completion of data collection forms, extracting and entering required clinical data from medical records and patient research charts to Case Report Forms (eCRFs/CRFs). This position also maintains currency of research regulations including rules concerning adverse event reporting, and all tasks related to the operational conduct of research.
The hourly rate range for this position is $26.83 - $30.00
