Provides guidance to the institutional ethics committee pertaining to policy formulation and educational and case review activities. Being a Clinical Ethicist develops institutional policies concerning ethical issues such as "do-not-resuscitate" and "withdrawal of life-support". Requires a master's degree or doctorate related to health ethics. Additionally, Clinical Ethicist typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. To be a Clinical Ethicist typically requires 4 to 7 years of related experience. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. Work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. This robust position carries a large scope and the RN Manager PACU will coordinate both patient care and the processes of care delivery within inpatient and outpatient surgical procedures. The PACU has 25 beds. This includes supervising nursing staff, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards, overseeing the unit’s daily operations to provide high-quality patient care, and fostering a positive and productive work environment. The Clinical Nursing Manager PACU will require a blend of clinical expertise, leadership ability, and operational management skills. An OR Nurse Manager will be there to help support Perioperative Services, as will the department’s backbone – its team of CNOR and CPAN RNs
