Clinical Facilities Planning Manager manages professional services for assigned projects concerning design, construction, development, or installation of hospital buildings and facilities. Oversees all aspects of construction including progress, timing, costs and contracts. Being a Clinical Facilities Planning Manager directs construction, equipment installation, renovation and redesigning projects. Works with hospital departments to ensure design changes, equipment specifications/substitutions, purchasing and accounting procedures are in alignment with business objectives. Additionally, Clinical Facilities Planning Manager develops and designs feasibility studies for review. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to senior management. The Clinical Facilities Planning Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions.     Our San Francisco office is searching for a Project Manager with 8 years of experience, who is seeking long-term career relationships with potential for advancement. Minimum requirements for this position include the following:

    • 8 years of experience in prior similar role
    • Bachelor’s degree in architecture or similar degree
    • Architectural Licensure preferred but not required
    • Excellent organizational capabilities
    • Professional communication skills, both written and spoken
    • Ability to successfully manage multiple projects and Project Team members
    • Extensive understanding of materials and methods of construction
    • Experience in preparation of proposals, scopes, schedules, and project budgets
    • Familiarity with MS Office, Bluebeam, project management software, Zoom, etc.
    • Ability to manage the preparation of Construction Documents that accurately reflect the design intent
    • Extensive knowledge of building and zoning codes
    • Experience in project management of multifamily residential, mixed-use, retail, senior living, education, and / or healthcare, including portfolio examples

    The person in this position will support, lead, and enhance the efforts of the firm’s production team. Responsibilities include assisting with project management activities such as:

    • Work under the collaborative direction of Senior Associates, Design Director, and Project Principals
    • Serve as the primary client liaison to bring the schedule, budgets, and scope of work to completion and to the client’s satisfaction.
    • Develop staffing requirements for projects and work with the Director of Operations to determine team assignments.
    • Develop consultant scope of services, approve consultant team and fees.
    • Review scope, budget, schedule, and project team selection with Project Principal.
    • Manage and mentor project team and maintain quality assurance.
    • Conduct project meetings and reviews with Project Team as required.
    • Prepare for and review project regularly with Project Principal and Director of Operations.
    • Provide motivation for each member of the project team.
    • Assure project compliance with firm’s policies, procedures and objectives.
    • Manage time effectively and meet established utilization budget.
    • Develop strong client relationship and seek opportunities to sell business.
    • Provide evaluation of project team’s performance.
