An award-winning health system is looking for a Clinical Cytotechnologist in the beautiful state of Virginia!

This 200-bed community-based hospital is seeking an experienced and dedicated individual for their Cytotechnologist position. As a part of a highly ranked medical healthcare system, this hospital is well known for several major services that it provides. Under the supervision of the Cytology Manager, the Cytotechnologist’s duties include cytological technical preparation of specimens, evaluation of gyn and non-gyn specimens for presence of cancer or other pathological changes in compliance with department policy and procedure, classification of results according to established protocols, and meeting all regulatory requirements within quality assurance policies. Qualifications include Bachelor’s Degree and ASCP – CT Certification.
