Clinical Information System Specialist provides on-site technical support to clinicians to ensure the proper and effective use of clinical information systems and improve the delivery of patient care. Assists users with system navigation, troubleshooting and patient monitoring issues. Being a Clinical Information System Specialist collaborates with leaders across functions and disciplines to plan, implement and evaluate the effectiveness of clinical systems and services. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Clinical Information System Specialist typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Clinical Information System Specialist occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Duties DescriptionUnder the direction of an Information Technology Specialist 3, SG-23, within the Chief Technology Office, Shared Platform Services, Shared Services Section, the Information Technology Specialist 2, SG-18, will create, test, deploy, troubleshoot and enhance O365 power platform applications/solutions at the direction of management using tools in Microsoft 0365 Power Platform such as Power Apps, Power Automate, MS Forms, SharePoint and Teams and any other Microsoft 0365 tools as needed.
Specific duties include, but are not limited to:
- Process O365 development requests
- Develop O365 Power Platform Applications
- Assist with O365 SharePoint and Power Platform Questions
- Assist with troubleshooting for O365 as needed
- Develop with Intranets using SharePoint
- Perform customer service duties related to application development
