Clinical Information Systems Director directs and coordinates implementation, design, and maintenance of clinical nursing information systems used to improve nursing operations. Conducts analysis to understand the needs of nursing staff and develop systems and strategy that supports and optimizes patient care and aligns with organizational objectives. Being a Clinical Information Systems Director researches and evaluates new technologies and tools used to provide new sources of data and streamline nursing practices. Plans the implementation, communication, and training for new technology deployments. Additionally, Clinical Information Systems Director requires a master's degree in nursing. Requires Registered Nurse (RN) license. Typically reports to top management. The Clinical Information Systems Director manages a departmental function within a broader corporate function. Develops major goals to support broad functional objectives. Approves policies developed within various sub-functions and departments. The Interventional Radiology and Cancer Services Director reports to the Chief Operating Officer, while being supported by 2 Imaging Managers and is responsible for a staff of 125 FTE's.
The Cancer Center Service Line Director is responsible for planning and directing of the Radiation Oncology Center which is comprised of: Radiology, CT, MRI, Interventional Radiology, Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound, Mammography and Cardiac Cath Labs
The Director of Interventional Radiology ensures diagnostic and therapeutic programs comply with all corporate and regulatory agency standards and procedures. The Radiology Director coordinates provision of Imaging Services with other medical functions and has overall responsibility for the technical aspect of radiological safety.
The Director of Radiology will be responsible for monitoring patient satisfaction and maintaining all local, state and federal accreditation regulations. The Director of Radiation Oncology will be responsible for all capital budgets, and purchasing of new equipment.
Providing a broad range of advanced medical services and constantly striving to meet the growing healthcare needs of the community, this 300 bed acute care medical facility’s offerings include Cardiology, Orthopedics, Maternal Child Health, Oncology and Diagnostic Imaging services as well as an extremely busy Emergency Department.
