Clinical Outcomes Analyst jobs in the United States

Clinical Outcomes Analyst collects clinical outcomes data and performs analysis in support of clinical process improvement initiatives. Gathers data on performance metrics to facilitate the review of program effectiveness. Being a Clinical Outcomes Analyst evaluates and summarizes patient data to ensure that care is provided in accordance with clinical guidelines and organizational standards. Identifies areas for improvement and communicates findings to leadership. Additionally, Clinical Outcomes Analyst requires a bachelor's degree in nursing or healthcare related area. May require a Registered Nurse (RN) license. Typically reports to a manager. The Clinical Outcomes Analyst work is closely managed. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role.     Under the direction of the Clinical Excellence Director, this position is primarily responsible to achieve excellence in clinical outcomes management and performance improvement by partnering with physicians, nursing, clinical documentation specialist and analyst team to evaluate focused clinical outcomes and process measures to ensure timely delivery of best practices and widespread dissemination of results and opportunities for improvement.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree.
    • upon hire: California Registered Nurse License.
    • 5 years Related experience in inpatient clinical setting.
    • 2 years Experience in Performance improvement.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Master's Degree Nursing.
    • upon hire: AHIMA.
