Clinical Outcomes Director directs in-depth analysis of clinical outcomes data to develop clinical process improvement initiatives. Oversees and leads staff who gather data on performance metrics and facilitates the review of clinical program effectiveness. Being a Clinical Outcomes Director creates, defines, and implements performance metrics to review program effectiveness. Evaluates patient data to ensure that care is provided in accordance with clinical guidelines and organizational standards. Additionally, Clinical Outcomes Director identifies opportunities and provides recommendations to improve program delivery, patient outcomes, and operational efficiency. Requires a bachelor's degree in nursing or healthcare related area. May require a Registered Nurse (RN) license. Typically reports to senior management. The Clinical Outcomes Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Duties:
- Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Collect data on client progress and behavior
- Assist with the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans
- Provide direct one-on-one therapy to individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD)
- Teach and reinforce appropriate social, communication, and daily living skills
- Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure consistency in treatment goals and strategies
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of client sessions and progress
Experience:
- Previous experience working with individuals with autism or related developmental disabilities preferred
- Familiarity with applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and techniques
- Ability to effectively implement behavior intervention plans and strategies
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
