CLINICAL OUTCOMES MANAGER manages the collection and analysis of clinical outcomes data to develop clinical process improvement initiatives. Oversees staff who gather data on performance metrics and facilitates the review of clinical program effectiveness. Being a CLINICAL OUTCOMES MANAGER provides advanced analyses and reports on clinical outcomes data. Evaluates and summarizes patient data to ensure that care is provided in accordance with clinical guidelines and organizational standards. Additionally, CLINICAL OUTCOMES MANAGER identifies areas for improvement and assists leaders/physicians in developing strategies to improve performance. Requires a bachelor's degree in nursing or healthcare related area. May require a Registered Nurse (RN) license. Typically reports to a director. The CLINICAL OUTCOMES MANAGER typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a CLINICAL OUTCOMES MANAGER typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. This 100 bed acute care facility is Joint Commission Accredited. It has also been awarded as a top performing hospital nationally. This medical facility covers all aspects of healthcare, and therefore, this new age hospital will be an excellent opportunity for the Manager of Radiology Services.
The Manager of Radiology Services will be responsible for hospital procedures including budgeting, implementing plans, supervising nursing staff, purchasing, and maintaining facility equipment. The Manager of Imaging will use technologies such as computer-assisted tomography, ultrasound, nuclear medicine, and MRI technology to ensure quality assurance. The Manager will also supervise advanced testing procedures and related protocol to ensure that regulatory standards of department facilities are met.
The ideal Manager of Radiology Services will have five years of experience, will be AART Certified, with knowledge of two or more modalities. A Bachelor of Science is also a preferred qualification.
