Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced CNC Programmer to join our team. As a CNC Programmer, you will be responsible for creating and implementing CNC programs to produce high-quality precision parts. This is a critical role in our manufacturing process, ensuring that our machines operate efficiently and effectively.
Duties:
- Develop CNC programs using CAM programming software such as Mastercam
- Set up and operate CNC machines, including milling machines
- Collaborate with engineers and designers to interpret schematics and blueprints
- Perform precision measurements using coordinate measuring machines and precision measuring instruments
- Conduct quality checks to ensure parts meet specifications
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with the CNC machines or programs
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Adhere to lean manufacturing principles to optimize production processes
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a CNC Programmer or similar role
- Proficient in CAM programming software, such as Mastercam
- Strong mathematical skills for calculations and measurements
- Knowledge of programming languages used in CNC machining
- Familiarity with precision measuring instruments and coordinate measuring machines
- Ability to interpret schematics and blueprints accurately
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
