Clinical Research Manager manages the clinical monitoring process and the administration of clinical trials. Supervises CRAs in in-house and on-site monitoring, filing, and clinical trial administration. Being a Clinical Research Manager oversees adherence to SOPs, Good Clinical Practice and FDA regulations. Helps with the development and implementation of clinical processes, procedures, and programs. Additionally, Clinical Research Manager may require a master's degree in nursing. May require ACRP or SOCRA Clinical Research Professional exam completion. Typically reports to a director. The Clinical Research Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Job Purpose:
To provide patient-driven care, the Registered Nurse, in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, will deliver treatment with an emphasis on optimization of clinical flow, maintenance of equipment and inventory, recruitment and training of medical support staff. Care coordination with front office, Providers and support staff to help ensure schedules are optimized and appointment vacancies are minimal.
Essential Functions:
● Responsible for overseeing and directing all activities of the medical assistant and phlebotomy staff.
● Reviews, analyzes and maintains appropriate staffing.
● Assist Center and Market Leaders in developing, implementing and maintaining standards of operation.
● Identifies patient care requirements by establishing personal rapport with potential and actual patients and other persons in a position to understand care requirements.
● Establishes a compassionate environment by providing education and psychological support to medical assistants, patients and all co-workers. Resolves patient problems and needs by utilizing multidisciplinary team strategies.
● Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with policies, procedures, rules, and regulations; calling for assistance from health care support personnel when necessary.
● Protects patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols, safe medication administration, mixing, and storage procedures, and controlled substance regulations.
● Documents patient care services by charting in patient and department records.
● Maintains continuity among nursing teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
● Maintains patient confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.
● Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs; maintaining equipment inventories; evaluating new equipment and techniques.
● Maintains nursing supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies; using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
● Manages clinical flow for provider efficiency to optimize business objectives.
● Contributes to performance measures and monitors MIPS performance, to include education to MA and provider guidance.
● Maintains a respectful cooperative relationship among health care teams by communicating information; responding to requests; building rapport; participating in team problem-solving methods.
● Regular attendance and punctuality.
● Responsible for recruitment of support staff, onboarding and performance evaluations.
● Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
● Ensures that all processing and reporting deadlines are consistently achieved.
● Perform any other functions as required by management.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
● Ability to work a flexible schedule as necessary.
● Graduated from an accredited school of nursing with a diploma, Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing..
● Licensed by the state.
Preferred Skills
● Two or more years as a supervisory registered nurse.
● Bachelor of Science in related field
