Care Options for Kids seeks a Director of Clinical Services. The Director of Clinical Services assists in establishing, implementing, and evaluating goals and objectives for home health services that meet and promote quality standards and contribute to the total organizational philosophy. The ideal candidate will have experience within the field of private-duty nursing with a focus on pediatric home health, supervision, and/or prior direct care experience. Supervisory experience or management experience is preferred!
Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities:
1. Coordinates and oversees a caseload of direct and indirect patient services organizational personnel provide.
2. Assists in continually improving all aspects of home health care services provided through organizational personnel.
3. Manages clinical teams and planning.
4. Performs assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient and family/caregiver care to clinical personnel as indicated.
6. Interprets operational indicators to detect census changes and increases or decreases in volume, which could impact staffing levels, revenues, or expenditures.
7. Evaluate the performance of direct care staff.
9. Assist in the hiring process and evaluation of organizational personnel.
10. Conducts clinical performance evaluations annually or more frequently if indicated.
11. Oversees the maintenance of patient clinical records, statistics, reports, and records for evaluation and reporting of organizational activities.
12. Assures proper maintenance of clinical records in compliance with local, state, and federal laws.
13. Responsible for maintaining adequate and appropriate inventory of supplies and equipment to provide patient services.
