Part of a thriving health system in the Los Angeles Metro area, this large, Magnet-journey hospital is a state leader in pediatric care. With over 30,000 pediatric Emergency Department visits annually, one of the largest NICUs in the state, and more than 1,500 children treated in the PICU annually, this facility continues to grow. The Cardiac PICU Clinical Nurse Specialist CNS will enjoy working in this dynamic institution dedicated to innovating care with state-of-the-art technologies.
The CNS for Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care will thrive in this new Cardiac Intensive Care Unit and will be an influential leader in plans to expand the hospital’s congenital heart program. The ideal candidate will have several years of pediatric cardiac clinical experience and Clinical Nurse Specialist licensure. In this comprehensive role, the Cardiac PICU Clinical Nurse Specialist CNS will be a clinical mentor, coach, program collaborator, and consultant to promote evidence-based practices and develop the professional goals of the unit. What does a Clinical Services Specialist do?
Clinical Services Specialist
Provide individual, family, and collateral therapeutic services to clients, to include children placed in the residential and emergency shelter program and their biological/foster families as applicable, at a frequency determined by need, contractual, and regulatory standards.
