Clinical Laboratory Technician, UHS Wilson Medical CenterUnited Health Services is seeking a Clinical Laboratory Technician to join our WMC Core Lab Services department at UHS Wilson Medical Center in Johnson City, NY. This position is benefits eligible.
ShiftRotationalHours per week:40Salary range:$30.58 - $45.86 per hour, depending on experience.OverviewIn the Laboratory, under limited supervision, performs routine and specialized tests in assigned laboratory sections in a timely manner, monitors lab processes, and verifies results. With six (6) years’ experience, may in the absence of the supervisor, direct daily activities of his/her section according to UHS Hospitals’, Laboratory and Departmental Policies and Procedures, NYSDOH, CDC, and UHSH Infection Control Policies and Procedures.QualificationsEducation/ExperienceMinimum Required:- Bachelor's degree in clinical laboratory technology or equivalent. (Grandfathered NYS Licensed CLT).
Preferred:- One (1) year experience working in a clinical laboratory.
License/CertificationMinimum Required:- NYS Licensed Clinical Laboratory Technologist.
Preferred:- ASCP Specialty Certification.
