Description
We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Title Closer in Clarksville, Tennessee. You'll be working on facilitating the closing of real estate transactions, coordinating with various stakeholders, managing escrow transactions, and ensuring legal compliance in all processes. This role is integral to our operations in the real estate industry.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate all aspects of escrow transactions including residential, refinance, relocation, and commercial transfers.
- Work closely with title departments to clear all recording and title issues before closing.
- Manage all financial aspects including receiving and processing payments, preparing estimates and final statements, and disbursing funds.
- Resolve any discrepancies or complications that may arise during the escrow process.
- Conduct closing processes, educate parties regarding escrow documents, and obtain all necessary signatures for the transaction.
- Build and maintain relationships with real estate agents, lenders, mortgage brokers, and clients.
- Review and interpret contracts, agreements, and the escrow instructions for compliance and accuracy.
- Establish new escrow accounts and monitor them until the transactions close.
- Keep up to date on industry trends, regulations, and best practices.
- Ensure all escrow transactions are legally compliant throughout the process.
Requirements
- Must possess a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Title Closer or in a related role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft Word
- Demonstrated understanding of Buying Processes, Closers, Closing Documents, and Closing Processes
- Experience with Escrow and Escrow Processing is required
- Familiarity with Title Escrow is essential
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and handle high-stress situations
- Willingness to stay updated with industry changes and regulations
- Must have a customer-oriented approach and a problem-solving mindset
- High school diploma or equivalent is required; a higher degree in a relevant field will be considered an advantage.
