Position: Cloud Operations Admin

Duration: 6 months

Location: Pittsburgh, PA (2-3 days/Week Onsite)

Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated Cloud Operations Admin to join our team and assist with the administration and management of our cloud infrastructure on the Microsoft Azure platform. This role is ideal for someone with 4-7 years of experience in cloud operations or IT support, looking to grow their skills in a dynamic environment.

• Assist in provisioning, configuring, and maintaining Azure cloud resources, including virtual machines, storage accounts, and networking components.
• Support the implementation and management of Azure services such as Azure Active Directory and Azure Monitor.
• Perform adds, moves, and changes in the cloud infrastructure, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruptions.
• Collaborate with team members to understand and implement infrastructure requirements.
• Monitor system performance and availability, assisting in the resolution of issues as they arise.
• Document system configurations, processes, and procedures to ensure consistency and knowledge sharing within the team.
• Provide general administrative support for cloud operations, including user management and basic troubleshooting.

Qualifications:

• 4-7 years of experience in cloud operations, IT support, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of Microsoft Azure and cloud services.
• Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) concepts and tools, such as Terraform.
• Basic Linux system administration skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Eagerness to learn and grow in the field of cloud operations.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred but not required.

Additional Skills from Candidate Profile:

• Proficient in automating processes using Terraform, Ansible, and ARM templates.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, and Jenkins.
• Container orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Cloud security and testing tools such as SonarQube, Sonar Cloud, and Snyk.
• Monitoring and logging tools like Grafana, Prometheus, and Azure Monitor.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour

Experience:
