Cloud Administrator jobs in San Francisco, CA

Description:
General familiarity with the AWS RDS Mysql and ideally Aurora Mysql
Extensive experience debugging and tuning performance on large databases servicing distributed systems
Software development experience in one or more general purpose programming languages such as Golang or Python
Ability to execute against a provided project with minimal oversight.
(Lead) Ability to work autonomously and to curate and execute against a project plan given minimal input.
Knowledge of database security best practices
Experience optimizing query performance as well as application access patterns to promote system health.
(Lead) Experience setting team's data modeling strategy (schema, query, partition strategy...)
Nice to have:
Familiarity with the general AWS landscape (EC2, MSK, EKS, S3, Redis)
Has experience building and optimizing data pipelines (Airflow, Kafka, Flink, CDC) and data warehouses (Snowflake, Redshift).
Experience with other database systems like DynamoDB, Postgres, Elasticsearch
