Cloud Systems Analyst is responsible for the design and management of an organization's cloud systems, applications, policies, and strategy. Evaluates and identifies the best cloud solutions for the organization. Being a Cloud Systems Analyst develops and modifies scalable architecture to support applications and infrastructure-as-a-service (IAAS) and platform-as-a-service (PAAS) platforms. Ensures the security and compliance of cloud environments, including data protection and privacy. Additionally, Cloud Systems Analyst monitors and analyzes cloud infrastructure performance to identify and resolve issues proactively. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to optimize cloud-based environments for performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness. Designs controls and processes that utilize available audit tools. Maintains up-to-date and extensive knowledge of cloud products and technology. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Cloud Systems Analyst occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. In support of Program Manager Supply & Maintenance Systems (PM SMS), we are seeking a Configuration Manager with experience in supporting DOD/Marine Corps acquisition logistics programs and life cycle management events; familiarization with acquisition logistics policy/principles, and interfacing with government principals.  

    Responsibilities:

    Lead and direct integrated logistics support (ILS) activities designed to provide effective and efficient life cycle support of systems and equipment. Recommend ILS element planning and progress to ensure compliance with program requirements, specifications, and standards.  The specific requirements and tasks may include, but are not limited to the following:

    • Review and analyze current configuration management plans for programmatic and logistic elements to assist in the drafting of Configuration Management Plan Addendums.

    • Manage AMAL/ADAL packing and line lists changes including maintaining current and accurate documentation to reflect AMAL/ADAL/medical kit inventory changes, tracking, and reporting the status of changes to stock lists, recalls, and shelf life (expiration) dates, recommend changes to AMAL/ADAL packing and line lists to the AMAL Managers, and submitting for Government approval all materiel change action requests through the MEF KB.

    • Update AMAL Packing Reconfigurations as a result of AMAL Modernizations.

    • Conduct research of product replacement/substitutions as a result of obsolescence and non-availability.

    • Request new National Stock Numbers (NSN’s) for all AMAL/ADAL equipment and consumable material that are new procurements, item replacements/substitutes, and recalls through the Defense Medical Logistics Item Identification System (DMLIIS).

    • Reconcile DMLIIS maintenance concurrency requests.

    Education/Experience:

    • High School Diploma Required

    • Preferred eight (8) years of related progressive professional work experience in Life-Cycle Logistics planning and management with a minimum of six (6) years of experience in at least two directly related technological areas, including experience in all phases of logistics acquisition and logistics planning. 

    • DAWIA, or professional accreditation preferred. 

    Specific/Preferred Requirements:

    • Proficiency in sustainment / RAM / support analysis, setting program supportability objectives, conducting program evaluations, providing analysis of logistics effectiveness, and ensuring compliance with specifications, requirements and performance objectives. 

    • Intermediate proficiency with MS Office/SharePoint, Adobe Acrobat, VIPER, SAM, GSA Library/eBuy, DSBS.

    • Expert proficiency in TFSMS, TLCM-OST, GCSS-MC, TDM, Catalyst, FedLog, WEBFLIS.

    • Position may require the ability to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance.
