Cloud Systems Architect is responsible for the design and management of an organization's cloud systems, applications, policies, and strategy. Evaluates and identifies the best cloud solutions for the organization. Being a Cloud Systems Architect develops and modifies scalable architecture to support applications and infrastructure-as-a-service (IAAS) and platform-as-a-service (PAAS) platforms. Ensures the security and compliance of cloud environments, including data protection and privacy. Additionally, Cloud Systems Architect monitors and analyzes cloud infrastructure performance to identify and resolve issues proactively. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to optimize cloud-based environments for performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness. Designs controls and processes that utilize available audit tools. Maintains up-to-date and extensive knowledge of cloud products and technology. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Cloud Systems Architect works autonomously. Goals are generally communicated in "solution" or project goal terms. May provide a leadership role for the work group through knowledge in the area of specialization. Works on advanced, complex technical projects or business issues requiring state of the art technical or industry knowledge.     Required skills:
    • Two or more years of hands-on IT experience (preferred), including, Windows Servers, Windows Desktop Administration, Microsoft Office 365.
    • Excellent critical thinking skills. 
    • Ability to obtain new certifications annually.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Able to travel to client sites as necessary within a sixty (60) mile radius of our office in Yorktown, IN.
    • Self-driven and self-disciplined with a “get it done” attitude.
    • Desire to excel in a client-service results-oriented environment.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Ability to manage and complete system projects with minimal downtime.
    • Strong sense of ownership for projects and tasks.
    • Detail-oriented.

    Preferred Skills:
    • Microsoft certifications.
    • Cisco and CompTIA certifications.
    • Cisco experience.
    • Networking experience.

    Responsibilities:
    • Maintain and troubleshoot system application and configuration issues.
    • Support the daily functions and concerns of hundreds of users in dozens of companies across central Indiana
    • Adapt to changing priorities and complex IT issues with your combination of technical abilities and a positive attitude.
    • Work collaboratively with team members to troubleshoot effectively. Challenge and enhance your technical proficiency and provide stimulating ideas to our team.
    • Ability to work well and maintain good working relationships with our customers.
    • Enjoy working independently and with a collaborative team.
    • Create and maintain documentation.
