Cloud Systems Architect is responsible for the design and management of an organization's cloud systems, applications, policies, and strategy. Evaluates and identifies the best cloud solutions for the organization. Being a Cloud Systems Architect develops and modifies scalable architecture to support applications and infrastructure-as-a-service (IAAS) and platform-as-a-service (PAAS) platforms. Ensures the security and compliance of cloud environments, including data protection and privacy. Additionally, Cloud Systems Architect monitors and analyzes cloud infrastructure performance to identify and resolve issues proactively. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to optimize cloud-based environments for performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness. Designs controls and processes that utilize available audit tools. Maintains up-to-date and extensive knowledge of cloud products and technology. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Cloud Systems Architect works autonomously. Goals are generally communicated in "solution" or project goal terms. May provide a leadership role for the work group through knowledge in the area of specialization. Summary:
Yorktown Systems Group is seeking a highly qualified Computer Systems Analyst III to provide support to the U.S. Army's Fires Center of Excellence (FCoE). The United States Army Fires Center of Excellence (USAFCoE) at Fort Sill, Oklahoma, mission is to provide the U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) with long-range training strategies, concepts, doctrine, training development, instruction and products and support products for current and future forces. FCoE's function is to serve as the user representative in the development of training methodologies and products, concepts, doctrine, organizational and materiel requirements for each functional area. The FCoE accomplishes this mission through the full spectrum of training services; exploitation of existing and emerging technologies and requirements (example: incorporating training for Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) system and the forthcoming, Integrated Air and Missile Defense Battle Command System (IBCS)); models and simulations; studies and analyses; experiments; exercises; training and doctrine development; and supplemental/supporting tasks.
