· As the Reliability and Cloud Security Architect, you will be responsible for planning, designing, and implementing solutions that ensure the stability of the organization's IT infrastructure.
· This includes developing, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing key functional areas, particularly around disaster recovery, business continuity, and Azure.
· You will be responsible for the overall security of the organization's Azure tenant(s).
· Duties can range from design and implementation to operation.
Job Responsibilities:
· Design and implement short and long-term plans to ensure solid backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions are functioning.
· Develop policies and procedures for Azure IAM, Azure Networking, Azure Governance
· Participate in the development of IT strategies in collaboration with IT management.
· Conduct research and make recommendations on products, services, protocols, and standards in support of all infrastructure procurement and deployment efforts.
· Develop and establish disaster recovery procedures for the restoration of mission-critical business applications in the event of natural disasters, technical failures, power outages, and human interference.
· Manage and coordinate all aspects of recovery plan implementation, including initial emergency response, recovery procedures, and business resumption processes.
· Develop, implement, and maintain procedures for disaster recovery administration and business continuity.
· Conduct feasibility studies for various systems upgrade projects, improvements, and other conversions.
· Implement semi-annual, planned failover events for regular testing of BC-DR strategy.
· Oversee and perform maintenance on Azure, Intune, m365, System Center Data Protection Manager
· Run health and security checks on m365 & Microsoft Entra ID (AAD)
· Provide design and operational support within Intune.
· Provide senior level support as required by Help Desk escalations.
· Oversee and manage Azure File Sync operations.
Requirements:
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or 10 years of work experience in lieu of degree
· Certification in Microsoft Technologies preferred.
· Proven experience managing and delivering infrastructure design and operational excellence.
· Exceptional knowledge of service and application delivery, as well as successful service level agreement accomplishments.
· Hands-on experience in troubleshooting data center / cloud / hybrid technology
· Knowledge of management planes such as Intune, System Center, ConfigMgr, vSphere, Hyper-V, Azure ARC
