Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC machines to perform precision machining operations
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to determine machining operations
- Use GD&T principles to ensure accurate dimensions and tolerances
- Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency
- Inspect finished products using micrometers, calipers, and other measuring instruments
- Make adjustments to machine settings as needed
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise during the machining process
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience operating CNC machines
- Knowledge of CAM programming and tooling selection
- Familiarity with Fanuc controls is a plus
- Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of machining principles
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings
- Proficiency in using hand tools and measuring instruments such as micrometers
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain high levels of accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
