Salary: DOE $25 -$30 per hour

Shift : 1st 7:30- 6pm Monday – Thursday

Job Duties and Responsibilities CNC Operator:

• Operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, milling etc.
• CNC Operator must understand specifications of the task at hand and the desired result by reading blueprints, mechanical drawings etc.
• CNC operator must prepare and load raw materials and parts onto the machines
• CNC Operator will supervise the machines while they execute the tasks and make any necessary adjustments to produce a better result
• Inspect and measure finished products and compare them with requirements to determine if the process has been completed properly
• Check and maintain machinery daily to ensure functionality

Skills and Requirements for CNC Operator:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 year CNC experience preferred
• Skill in operating CNC machinery and tooling as well as precision measurement tools
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings
• Mechanical aptitude and good math skills
• Must be able to read a dial caliper or equivalent and measure in thousandths of an inch
• Assures the cut quality and detail orientated
• Reports directly to Manufacturing Supervisor
• Works closely with Team Leaders, Craftsman, and CNC Router Programmer
