Allegiant Manufacturing, the one stop source for metal working solutions including stamping, fabrication, tool & die, value-added assembly, tooling & machining, tube bending & roll forming located in Gallatin, Tennessee has an opening for a CNC Operator on 1st shift, regularly scheduled working Monday through Thursday, 5:00 am to 3:30 pm.

SUMMARY: Under minimal supervision, operates CNC machinery to fabricate metallic and non-metallic parts.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Specify equipment, tools and supplies needed
• Meet and improve quality standards
• Increase productivity and improve performance standards
• Reads and interprets blueprints
• Must be proficient with FANUC and HAAS controls and understands, interprets and edits FANUC G-code & M Modes programming
• Recognizes, deploys and properly uses inserts, fixtures and tooling, and understands and has the ability to perform tool wear offsets
• Mill & Lathe experience a plus

MINIMUM QUALIFIFCATIONS / REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily and demonstrate the ability to speak and read English. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High School diploma or general education degree (GED); Machine tool Technology degree preferred.
