CNC Operator

We are searching for an experienced CNC Operator at our Oklahoma City facility. 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities: 

Summary:
Maxcess is seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will run various operations in the CNC Machining Center, ensuring precision, efficiency, and adherence to quality standards.

 Key Responsibilities:

• Perform milling and drilling operations based on engineering drawings and instructions.
• Set up the CNC machine as required for milling and drilling tasks.
• Determine appropriate feeds and speeds for different materials.
• Regularly clean and maintain clamps to ensure optimal performance.
• Identify completed work and adhere to quality control procedures.
• Maintain accurate time sheets for each operation.
• Keep the work area clean and organized, disposing of machined chips promptly.
• Adhere to safety protocols and wear proper safety equipment.
• Assist in other manufacturing areas as needed.
• Collaborate effectively with team members.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One to three years of specialized training in machining trades.
• Proficiency in shop mathematics and ability to interpret engineering drawings.
• Previous experience in CNC operations preferred.
• Strong judgment and decision-making skills.
• Ability to maintain focus and attention to detail.
• Physically capable of lifting and maneuvering heavy objects.
• Excellent communication skills and teamwork abilities.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to exert up to 50 lbs. of force occasionally, 20 lbs. of force frequently, and 10 lbs. of force constantly.
• Good, corrected vision, depth perception, and color vision.
• Continuous bending, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, lifting, pulling, twisting, grasping, and hand/finger dexterity required.
