Completes required documentation and performs post-flight procedures as required. Additionally, Co-Pilot (Small Jet) may require a bachelor's degree. Requires Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate. Requires FAA Commercial Pilot's License. Typically reports to chief pilot. A Smallgood is a small USDA facility producing artisanal dry cured and smoked products. We work with whole animals and primal cuts. We are looking for an experienced butcher with whole-animal experience to spearhead our butchery and production team. Candidates will be independent, driven and knowledgeable of whole animal butchery and value added meat production preferably in a high volume setting.
Responsibilities:
- Cut, trim, and portion different types of meats according to customer requests
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the meat cutting area
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Receive and inspect meat deliveries for quality and freshness
- Operate and maintain meat cutting equipment
- Assist in value added production, including fresh, smoked and cured products
- Assist in package products
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Meat Cutter or similar role in the food industry
- Strong knowledge of different cuts of meat and proper cutting techniques
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices
- Excellent knife skills and ability to handle sharp tools safely
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good communication and customer service skills
