Completes required documentation and performs post-flight procedures as required. Additionally, Co-Pilot (Small Jet) may require a bachelor's degree. Requires Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate. Requires FAA Commercial Pilot's License. Typically reports to chief pilot. Triangle Services Division, Century Direct Solutions, located in Islandia, NY is a printer/mailer specializing in data management, data processing and personalized printing. We have an opportunity for a:
Jet Pressman
2nd Shift (4:15pm – 12:45am)
Duties:
- Operate and maintain printing presses to produce high-quality printed materials
- Set up and adjust printing machines according to job specifications
- Monitor the printing process to ensure proper ink coverage, registration, and color consistency
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with the printing equipment
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on the presses to ensure optimal performance
- Collaborate with graphic designers and layout artists to ensure accurate reproduction of designs
- Inspect printed materials for quality control and make adjustments as needed
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Pressman or in a similar role preferred
- Proficient in print advertising techniques and processes
- Knowledge of fabricating, machining, and press operations
- Familiarity with graphic design principles and software such as Adobe Creative Suite
- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform quality control checks
- Ability to read and interpret job specifications and layouts
- Have prior experience with a Halm Jet and Superjet 2 colors envelopes
- Experience with screen printing is a plus
