number: 1 (701) 252-9353, is looking to fill four (4) Millwright Laborer positions from
05/15/2024 to 10/31/2024. This is for full time, peak-load temporary employment. Duties include:
a millwright laborer is responsible for providing support and assistance to millwrights in the
installation, maintenance, and repair of machinery and equipment. They assist in various tasks to
ensure the smooth operation of industrial and manufacturing facilities. Millwright laborers work
under the supervision of skilled millwrights and contribute to the overall efficiency and
productivity of the team. Assist millwrights in carrying out installation, assembly, and disassembly
of machinery and equipment according to specifications. General welding skills preferred.
Operation of crane and hand signals a plus. Supervisory skills and/or experience a plus. Experience
in concrete work a plus. Load, unload, and transfer materials, tools, and equipment using forklifts,
cranes, and other handling equipment as necessary. Assist in the alignment, leveling, and
positioning of machinery components during installation. Perform measurements and inspections
to ensure accuracy and proper fit of parts. Support millwrights in repairing and maintaining
industrial machinery, including replacing components, lubricating parts, and performing routine
maintenance tasks. Assist in troubleshooting and diagnosing mechanical issues to identify and
rectify problems. Operate power tools, hand tools, and other equipment safely and efficiently.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring proper storage and inventory of tools,
equipment, and materials. Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations and report any safety
concerns to supervisors. Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate progress,
challenges, and any issues encountered during work assignments. Special requirements include:
Three (3) months related experience. Must be able to lift and carry up to 75 lbs. - High school
diploma or equivalent. Basic knowledge of mechanical principles and equipment operation.
Physical strength and stamina to handle heavy machinery parts and equipment. - Proficient in the
use of hand tools, power tools, and measurement instruments. - Ability to work in a team
environment and follow instructions accurately. Good problem-solving skills and mechanical
aptitude. Prior experience in a similar role or familiarity with millwright work is a plus. Forklift
certification or willingness to obtain certification. Strong commitment to safety practices and
guidelines. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with others.
The pay rate is from $23.65 up to $28.00 per hour with overtime available at $35.48 up to $42per
hour, based on hourly rate. 40 hours per week from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday. Job
opportunity is a temporary, full-time position. Daily travel to worksites in the area of intended
employment is required. The requested temporary workers will be based at 8056 36th St. SE,
Jamestown, ND 58401 and will service clients within the East North Dakota nonmetropolitan area;
West North Dakota nonmetropolitan area BLS/MSA, including the counties of Stutsman, Barne,
Foster, Wells, Kidder, and Lamoure. Employer provides transportation to and from all worksites.
